Pine, bamboo, plum blossom here refers to three Chinese brush painting artists: Mr. Yang Yun-mo, Mr. You Qing-long, and Ms. Cai Shu-zhen.

Pine refers to the senior painter Mr. Yang Yun-mo. The oldest among the three artists, Yang Yun-mo is still active in creating art. He has received formal schooling in traditional Chinese brush painting and is especially good at block printing and figure painting. His works are detailed and vivid and his exhibitions have received positive reviews.
Bamboo refers to You Qing-long, a Chinese brush painting and calligraphy artist. You was once a student of contemporary Chinese brush painting master, Jing Song-ling, and is now the honorary president of the Association of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy in Taiwan. He has spared no efforts in promoting the art of Chinese painting and calligraphy.
Plum blossom refers to Ms. Cai Shu-zhen, a young artist. Always in pursuit of innovation and improvement, Cai has made outstanding achievements. She was once appointed by the Overseas Community Affairs Council to teach culture overseas. Cai is particularly good at painting flowers and birds and also touches upon subjects such as figures and landscapes. She is now the president of the Association of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy in Taiwan.

The world of the Chinese brush painting is profound in meaning and profuse in goodness. This is why the exhibition has the name “Pine, Bamboo, and Plum blossom”, in hopes of receiving valuable comments from all so that the public can help the artists as they strive for excellence.
