Date:2025-12-09
Amid the warm atmosphere of the year-end Christmas season, a classical music party exclusively for families, filled with surprises, will officially open on Sunday, December 21st, at the Huludun Cultural Center Concert Hall! The Dajia Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra's "The Musician's Birthday Party" will offer a musical theater experience perfect for families to enjoy together. Through musical stories, live orchestras, theatrical performances, and vocal presentations, it will lead both children and adults into the composers' "universe of childlike wonder."

The Huludun Cultural Center stated that the play features a conductor hosting a birthday party, with renowned composers such as Bach, Johann Strauss II, and Verdi making surprise appearances as characters. Each moving piece of music is introduced through a lighthearted story, presented by professional actors and musicians, while theatrical lighting design creates a magical stage atmosphere. The performance also includes surprise scenes: unexpected mischievous visitors, a mysterious figure intruding with a chorus of songs, and the amusing moment when sharpshooter William accidentally fires an arrow— all guaranteed to bring laughter to both children and parents alike. Additionally, a street art event titled "Christmas Dance Carnival will take place on Sunday afternoon, December 14, in the outdoor plaza. Featuring a clown magic show, hoop stunts, and energetic dance performances, "YiDen Dance Studio" will showcase a diverse range of dance styles, creating an immersive stage experience that blends fantasy and power. The event is free and open to the public. These three events over the next two weeks will offer a rich and diverse audiovisual feast, making them the warmest and most exciting Christmas gifts this winter!

The Cultural Center highlighted that the Dajia Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra has been established for over ten years and has actively promoted the popularization of classical music, the creation of original musicals, and theater education. The orchestra has been invited to perform at prestigious venues such as Weiwuying and the National Taichung Theater. From 2013 to 2015, it also organized rice paddy concerts in Waipu Wangyou Valley, integrating the concept of sustainability with local revitalization, thereby demonstrating the enduring impact of cultural cultivation.

"The Musician's Birthday Party" weaves together famous musical pieces into a story-driven theatrical performance, offering a delightful blend of music and drama. This enchanting adventure for children makes it the most heartwarming and exciting Christmas gift this winter! Tickets are priced at NT$100 (Ministry of Culture Youth Seats), NT$200, NT$300, and NT$500. Please purchase tickets through the OPENTIX ticketing system.
