This September, two highly anticipated family-friendly productions will take turns at the Huludun Cultural Center! First up, on Saturday, September 20th, will be the grand performance of "The Mouse's Wedding" by the "Sun Son Theatre." On September 27th, families and children are invited to enjoy the free Taichung premiere of "Bobo, the Drawing Lover" by the Galaxy Valley Music Theatre! This autumn, let laughter, music, and fairy tales be the warmest prelude to Mid-Autumn Festival with your children!
Huludun Cultural Center announced that Sun Son Theatre , recognized as a "2025 Taiwan Top Performing Arts Team," blends world-class instruments, physical drama, singing, and puppetry to deliver a thrilling stage experience. Adapted from a classic Taiwanese folk fable, "The Mouse Wedding," the family-friendly theater production depicts the adult life of a Mouse Kingdom princess and her journey, led by Xiao Shuai, to find the "world's most powerful groom." The production takes the audience on a fairytale adventure into the Mouse Kingdom.
The performance combines physical theatre, vocals, live music, puppetry, and even uses recycled objects creatively transformed into instruments and props. This blend of physical performance, vocals, live music, puppetry, and dramatic performance creates a uniquely magical family-friendly theatre extravaganza.
