The Dajia Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, which has been deeply rooted in the community for over a decade, will hold a concert titled "Fell in Love with Opera at First Listen" on Sunday, May 25, at the Huludun Cultural Center Auditorium in Taichung City. This performance will feature soprano Wang Jialin and baritone Chen Jihan, accompanied by a string quintet, presenting several classic opera excerpts. With professional guidance, the audience will be invited to immerse themselves in the unique charm of the opera world.
The Huludun Cultural Center announced that the concert "Fell in Love with Opera at First Listen" will feature well-known pieces such as "The Bird-catcher's Song" from Mozart's "The Magic Flute," "Non più andrai" from "The Marriage of Figaro," and the Italian folk song "O Sole mio," along with selections from light operas that are both lively and cheerful. Through these carefully curated pieces, the audience will have the opportunity to experience the diverse facets of opera, ranging from joyful and humorous to deeply moving, thereby showcasing the rich layers of operatic art.
Since its establishment, the Dajia Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra has embraced the philosophy of "performing our music in our hometown. dedicated to promoting exceptional concerts, having conducted over a hundred performances.
